It’s no secret that China has some of the most restrictive internet policies in the world. The government closely monitors and censors online content, making it difficult for residents to access many popular websites and platforms – including YouTube.

So, if you’re planning a trip to China or are already living there, how can you go about watching YouTube videos? Below we outline a few methods:

1. Use a VPN

VPNs (virtual private networks) encrypt your internet traffic and route it through servers in other countries. This means that when you connect to a VPN server outside of China, you’ll be able to bypass the country’s censorship filters and access blocked websites like YouTube.

Of course, not all VPNs work in China. The government has been cracked down on these tools in recent years and has even gone as far as blocking certain VPN providers outright. So, if you’re going to use a VPN in China, make sure to do your research beforehand and sign up for a service that is known to work well in the country (we recommend NordVPN).

2. Use Tor Browser

Can I go to jail for using VPN in China?

No, you cannot go to jail for using a VPN in China. However, the Chinese authorities do their best to limit access to VPNs. One way they do this is by removing VPN apps from app stores. As with all Google services, Google Play is blocked in China.

It’s a common issue that printers go offline when connecting to a VPN (Virtual Private Network). The main causes are:

1. Incorrect printer settings: when you set up a printer, it’s important to make sure that the “use printer offline” option is unchecked. This setting can be found in theAdvanced tab under Printer Properties (in Windows) or in the Print & Scan Preferences (on a Mac). If this option is checked, it means that your computer is trying to use the printer while the VPN connection is active, which obviously won’t work!
2. IP address conflict: another possibility is that your computer and the printer are assigned different IP addresses when they’re connected to the VPN. This can happen if you’re using a public VPN service instead of one provided by your company. In this case, you’ll need to contact your VPN provider for help resolving the issue.
3. Firewall issues: finally, it’s possible that there’s a problem with your firewall settings. If you’re using a third-party firewall, make sure that it’s configured to allow traffic on port 9100 (which is used for printing). Alternatively, you can try temporarily disabling your firewall to see if that fixes the problem.
