1) Log into your router’s web interface and go to the ‘Advanced’ section.

First, you’ll need to sign up for a VPN service. We recommend choosing a reputable and trustworthy provider such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN. Once you’ve done so, log into your account and download the provided software.
Next, open up the downloaded software and connect to a server location of your choice. Once connected, head over to your Nighthawk router’sadmin page (usually accessible via http://192.168.1.1). Navigate to the “Network” or “Connections” section and look for an option called “PPTP/L2TP”. Enter the information provided by your VPN provider into the relevant fields (e.g., server address, username, password) and save your changes.
