There are a few different ways to use a VPN on your laptop without downloading any extra software. One option is to use the built-in VPN client on Windows 10. To set up a VPN connection on Windows 10, head to Settings > Network & Internet > VPN. Click the “Add a VPN connection” button to set up a new VPN connection.
For the VPN provider, choose “Windows (built-in)” from the dropdown menu. In the Connection name field, enter a name for the VPN connection. This can be anything you want. In the Server name or address field, enter the address of the VPN server you want to connect to. You can usually find this information on the website of your VPN provider.

First, you’ll need to create a VPN profile. To do this, select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > VPN. Next, click Add a VPN connection.
In the Add a VPN connection window, do the following:
For VPN provider, choose Windows (built-in).
In the Connection name field, enter a name for the VPN connection. This can be anything you want.
In the Server name or address field, enter the address of the VPN server. This can be obtained from your VPN provider.
If you want to use a different type of sign-in info than your Microsoft account, select Change. Otherwise, leave this field blank.
Under Type of sign-in info, select User name and password.
In the User name field, enter your username. This is usually your email address.
In the Password field, enter your password.
