1. Download and install the VPN software from your provider’s website. Make sure to get the right version for Windows 10.
2. Open the VPN software and enter your login credentials (provided by your VPN provider).
3. Choose the server that you want to connect to and click “Connect”. Depending on your provider, you may have a choice of server location or simply be assigned one automatically.
4. That’s it! Your laptop should now be connected to the VPN server and all of your traffic will be encrypted and routed through the secure tunnel.

First, you’ll need to create a VPN profile. To do this, select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > VPN. Next, click Add a VPN connection.
In the Add a VPN connection window, do the following:
For VPN provider, choose Windows (built-in).
In the Connection name field, enter a name for the VPN connection. This can be anything you want.
In the Server name or address field, enter the address of the VPN server. This can be obtained from your VPN provider.
If you want to use a different type of sign-in info than your Microsoft account, select Change. Otherwise, leave this field blank.
Under Type of sign-in info, select User name and password.
In the User name field, enter your username. This is usually your email address.
In the Password field, enter your password.

In the Add a VPN dialog box, enter into each field:
The name of your VPN provider
The type of sign-in info they require
Your sign-in details
Click Save when you’re done. Your new connections will now appear in the list on the left side of the screen. Select it and click Connect to connect to your VPN provider.
